# Solutions

We've collected step-by-step recipes for common agent tasks here, along with
setup guides for the tools your agents run in. Recipes start from a task (such
as paying an invoice), while integrations start from the tool. Both use the
parts described in [How Catena works](https://docs.catena.com/concepts.md), so if a term is unfamiliar,
that page will define it.

## Recipes

Each recipe will walk you through a task, from the prompt you give your agent to
confirming the result.

- [Pay a vendor invoice](https://docs.catena.com/recipes/pay-a-vendor-invoice.md): Pay a vendor by ACH, with large payments waiting for an admin.
- [Pay for an API call](https://docs.catena.com/recipes/pay-for-an-api-call.md): Pay an x402 endpoint in USDC with a price ceiling.
- [Raise a limit for one task](https://docs.catena.com/recipes/raise-a-limit.md): Ask for a temporary increase to the one limit that blocked the agent.

## Integrations

These pages cover setup for specific agent tools (Claude Code, Codex, Claude,
ChatGPT, cloud coding agents, and Meta Muse). Each page will show you how to
connect with the method that fits the tool, whether that is the CLI, an MCP
connector, or a secret key.

- [Claude Code](https://docs.catena.com/integrations/claude-code.md): Link Claude Code from your terminal.
- [Codex](https://docs.catena.com/integrations/codex.md): The Codex CLI with catena link, or Codex cloud tasks with a secret key.
- [Claude (desktop and web)](https://docs.catena.com/integrations/claude-app.md): Add Catena as a custom connector. Use Claude Cowork for payments.
- [ChatGPT](https://docs.catena.com/integrations/chatgpt.md): Add Catena as a custom plugin in developer mode.
- [Cloud coding agents](https://docs.catena.com/integrations/cloud-agents.md): Agents that start a fresh sandbox for each task.
- [Meta Muse](https://docs.catena.com/integrations/meta-muse.md): Link a Muse agent on its Linux computer, without a keychain.
